I’ve been a client of Shannon’s and Grateful Life Health Coaching for about a year now. My initial interest was to improve my mindfulness - mostly when it comes to food. In my time working with Shannon, we’ve taken a very holistic view of this, and she has helped me on the path to mindfulness with not only my food intake habits (eating way too fast and too much), but also with education and applying tools to help me continually develop my mind, body and spirit/soul. What started as an “I’d like to lose weight” goal, has become a much more encompassing intention of HOW I want to live my life. The work that we do has evolved to always “meet me where I am”, and to help me get to where I want to be. This includes meditation, yoga, breathing techniques and more.  I have a big physical/athletic challenge that I’m undertaking in January, and I know that by working with Shannon-- my body, my mind, and my spirit/soul – will be ready for the task. I can’t wait for what is going to happen next for me on my journey, and I have Shannon to thank for her guidance, patience, and insight.
